For a New Start

Our client, a newly divorced mom of two kids and a black lab, wanted her home to be the place everyone could come and hang out. Her son has down syndrome and part of the challenge with this project was making sure that pieces were movable (he likes to rearrange furniture) and durable (he likes to throw things around and plays hard). She also didn’t want to sacrifice style for comfort and wanted to feel represented in her new home.

We made sure not only to match this family’s fun and edgy personality with mixed metals, leather and concrete, but we gave them a space that could be enjoyed and lived in by all. On the wish list was a large comfy WHITE (yes you can have a white sofa with kids) sectional that can stand up to daily life. The living room we created gives them just that, a space for family movie nights, wine night with the ladies or game night with friends, lots and lots of friends!
