Hi, I’m Maya.

principal designer / owner

I’ve been a designer my whole life. But I’m also a mother, wife, and homeowner who knows how much of a struggle it can be to go from concept to reality.

Work, life, travel, the dog gets out the front door, emergency kitchen clean ups, kids soccer games—our lives and our days fill to the brim with obligations and distractions. Sometimes it’s hard to imagine the home of your dreams taking shape around you.

I built this firm to take the guesswork out of finding what’s right for your home. To help you solve your most stubborn design challenges with care, compassion, and determination. To transform empty rooms into spaces filled with laughter, memories, and love.

Hi, I’m kerstin.

Kerstin grew up in the Valley of the Sun and graduated from the University of Arizona. She spent the majority of her career  in marketing and event management. She truly loves working on projects and seeing them come together - especially the final result.

In her personal time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, 14 year old Puggle and three children.

  • We had our kitchen re-done/updated. But with this new beautiful kitchen, the family room off the kitchen no longer looked like they went together. We hired Maya to help "marry" the new kitchen with the outdated family room. We didn't want to do a big re-do but we needed some help with decorating ideas.  Maya was amazing! She found decor that would lighten up the area as well as update it so that it looked amazing up against our new kitchen. We were so happy with her work that we moved into our great room and had her update that as well. Again our goal was not to do a big re-do of the furniture so she helped us make some changes to the existing and then added decor that was current. She also incorporated the old pieces that were sentimental to us. We highly recommend Maya.

The whole process from start to finish was very easy and any issue that came up during the remodel was handled effortlessly. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a designer.   • Maya helped me with a "facelift" for my kitchen and powder room. I do not enjoy these types of things - I prefer the big picture vs. making a million little choices. She took time to learn my style and color palettes that I liked and put together two "plans" for my kitchen and powder room. She sourced the products, scheduled the installs and helped me choose a contractor. She was very hands on and if something wasn't up to her standards, it was immediately addressed and corrected. I feel I got a good value for my budget, and I didn't have to spend time doing things I don't enjoy. My "new" kitchen changes the whole look of my house, and the updated powder room gives us more storage and brings the room into the 2020s. Very happy with Maya's services!
